ENERGY AND EXERGY APPROACHES TO THE PROBLEM OF RATIONAL ENERGY USE

Анотація

The work is devoted to two methods of analysis of energy-converting processes - energy and exergy and the role of thermodynamic characteristics in them - quantity (constant value) and quality (variable property). The main attention is paid to the exergetic method and qualitative characteristics of energy, understanding of its physical meaning, establishing the connection of energy quality with the provisions of the Second Law of Thermodynamics, which correspond to the modern level of thermodynamic science, describing the universal quality of various forms of energy – the exergy and its importance for solving problems of rational energy use. This work can be useful for those who are interested in a better understanding of the provisions of the Second Law, the basics of the exergetic method and its practical application.
